Gene Hansen applies his 20+ years of commercial and government aerospace management and leadership experience to program managing large scale system implementations, process improvement efforts and change initiatives. He has led such assignments for airlines, turbine manufacturers, airframers, avionics manufacturers, defense service providers, non-profits, national laboratories, and MROs in domestic and international government and commercial structures. Gene has experience with full-suite enterprise system implementations as well as focused systems and combines his machining, manufacturing engineering, business and legal background into integrated process and systems development capability.
Prior to joining Capital Edge Consulting, Gene served in various leadership positions with several major aerospace defense and civilian companies. Gene’s career started as a Machinist, and he was promoted through Manufacturing Engineer, Shop Supervisor, Continuous Improvement Lead, Business Development Manager, ERP Program Manager, General Manager, and then Director in the aerospace companies he served prior to joining Capital Edge.
Gene graduated from Weber State University with a AAS in CNC Machine Tool Technology and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering. He also graduated from California Polytechnic State University with an MBA and an MS in Engineering Management followed by a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University with a focus on business and intellectual property law. Gene is licensed to practice law in Connecticut.
