Steve Goller is a Senior Manager of Capital Edge Consulting. Since its inception, Capital Edge has grown into the country’s leading consulting firm, focused solely on serving both domestic and foreign contractors who contract with the U.S. Government.
Steve’s areas of expertise include Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and the 6 FAR Business Systems (EVMS, P&E, MMAS, Accounting, Purchasing and Government Property). Steve specializes in holistic end-to-end business modernizations and optimizations, ERP implementations, data normalization and dashboarding solutions,  subsidiary system integrations, and DCMA/DCAA implementations and validations/accrediations.
Over the past 20+ years, Steve has developed numerous compliant FAR business system descriptions, program level processes and procedures, and has developed, managed and implemented project portfolio and management solutions, such as Project, P6, OPP, Cobra, PowerBI and ERPs. Steve has led EVMS initial determination/delta validation reviews, as well as successfully cleared multiple level II & III CARs from DCMA with various contractors. Steve has overseen the rollout of accounting and financial solutions/implementations at many client sites and was responsible for integration with client financial/accounting systems.Â
Steve routinely provides EVMS training at contractor sites, ranging from general Earned Value Management overview to in-depth specific topics like Material Earned Value, EAC preparation, Variance Analysis, and Baseline change management. Steve has routinely worked in both the Federal Government and commercial marketspaces throughout his professional career.Â
Steve regularly performs independent/3rd party reviews of contractor’s program/project management practices, providing robust solution set(s) for remediation, optimization or implementation, and develops gap-closure plans with the client, and invests himself with the client through implementation and delivery.
In addition to providing Capital Edge Consulting’s customized client training, Steve frequently presents at NDIA IPMD conferences. Steve has actively contributed to various DCMA/Gov’t white papers, and provided input and reviews for the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG) (v. 3.0/4.0). Steve graduated from the University of Phoenix with both an MBA and Masters in Management.
