RYAN FLEISCHER

Ryan Fleischer is the Corporate Attorney for Capital Edge Consulting, Inc. An experienced lawyer and compliance professional, Ryan is responsible for providing legal support for all of Capital Edge Consulting’s internal business operations, including contract and subcontract negotiation and administration.

Prior to joining Capital Edge, Ryan worked in the higher education industry for more than 11 years. During his career in higher ed, Ryan oversaw NCAA compliance operations for two NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic programs – first as Assistant Director of Compliance at the College of William and Mary and then as Associate Director of Athletics – Compliance at Robert Morris University. In these roles, Ryan was responsible for providing rules education, interpretations, monitoring and guidance to thousands of constituents including student-athletes, coaches, faculty and staff, senior university leadership and university trustees. In addition to his compliance work at RMU, Ryan also served as Assistant University Counsel for 5 years, handling legal duties for the Department of Athletics and providing support to the Office of General Counsel on general legal matters facing the university.

Ryan is a member of the Moon Township Environmental Advisory Council, and has taught seminars in the field of college sports law for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

Ryan holds a J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University – Dickinson School of Law and a B.S.B.A. in Management from Bucknell University. He is a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
