As a service leader with 7+ years of experience, Sammie supports our Federal Grants capability. Sammie has deep expertise in 2 CFR 200 & Federal Agency Compliance, Subaward Administration, Invoicing & Financial Reporting, and Audit Preparation & Resolution.

Throughout Sammie’s time supporting federal contractors and grant recipients, she has effectively operated as outsourced 2 CFR 200 and Federal Agency compliance functions during periods of limited internal staffing, ensuring uninterrupted execution and compliance across all programs through invoicing and financial reporting requirements, award conditions, and annual compliance audit obligations.

She has also helped clients recover over $20 million in reimbursement requests with questioned costs they were entitled to through forensic accounting and client interpretation of federal requirements, ensuring payment and compliance with federal awards.

Sammie has led multiple award recipients with the preparation, completion, and knowledge transfer of required programmatic and financial award reports, including requests for reimbursement, resulting in on time payment and appropriate award compliance.

Over the course of Sammie’s career, she has also gained experience running projects and training pertaining to SAM.gov, helping clients to successfully register their entity to bid on federal contracts or support subaward reporting.

Sammie is an esteemed lecturer on federal awards and contracts compliance for industry-recognized training organizations such as FPS, National Contract Management Association, Public Contracting Institute, and Thompson Grants. She also provides in-house training to contractors to support compliance within the federal contracting space and their awards.

Sammie is a member of National Contract Management Association’s Suncoast Chapter in the Tampa Florida region, where she is actively assisting in the growth and expansion of the chapter.

Sammie earned a dual Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from Radford University.
