As a former industry leader and client with 25+ years of experience, Gene leads Capital Edge’s Enterprise Systems Transformation, DFARS Business Systems, and Strategic Advisory capabilities. Gene has deep expertise in Enterprise Systems Planning & Selection, Enterprise Systems Implementation, Process & System Improvement, and Post M&A Integrations.

Throughout Gene’s time supporting federal contractors, national laboratories, and regulated commercial entities, he has helped clients design and execute enterprise system transformations that align regulatory requirements with real world operations. He has successfully led complex ERP implementations across Deltek Costpoint, SAP, and Oracle environments, enabling compliant, scalable operations for organizations with both commercial and government business models. Gene has also supported critical transitions such as M&O contract turnovers, acquisitions, divestitures, and greenfield deployments, ensuring continuity of operations, audit defensibility, and return on investment from major systems initiatives.

Prior to his time at Capital Edge, Gene held senior transformation and systems leadership roles within large aerospace and defense organizations, including multi-site manufacturing and MRO environments. His experience spans executive responsibility for ERP program management, operational turnarounds, global SAP deployments, and technology enabled process modernization across domestic and international operations. Gene began his career on the shop floor as a machinist and progressed through manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement leadership, program management, and executive transformation roles, shaping his practical, operator focused approach to enterprise systems and compliance.

Gene has supported thought leadership and advisory efforts related to enterprise transformation, regulated operations, and systems enabled compliance across government contracting and aerospace environments. Gene is co-inventor on U.S. Patent Application No. 20160199885, covering a forced pulse waterjet method for removing metal honeycomb from gas turbine engine substrates.

Gene earned a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Engineering Management from California Polytechnic State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Weber State University. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut.
