Throughout his experience with dozens of government contractors, Alex has guided clients in preparing for and successfully navigating DCAA and third-party audits, providing strategic advisory on corrective actions, remediating system deficiencies, and moving at-risk or disapproved accounting and estimating systems to approved status. His expertise expands to complex reconciliations, internal control reviews, contract administration, project finance, and program management, enabling clients to achieve regulatory compliance while prioritizing operational efficiency.
Alex has successfully helped contractors and grant recipients working with the DOW, DOE, DHHS, DHS, NNSA and DARPA achieve their operational goals. This includes large-scale system implementations designed to support more than $2 billion annually in transactions, outsourced leadership and staffing to fulfill entire department needs, and strategy to enable start-ups and Fortune 25 companies alike to succeed in their business dealings with the U.S. government.
As a former accounting and compliance professional at multiple large defense contractors and advisory firms, Alex served as the primary liaison to the DCAA while managing 13 annual incurred cost submissions, supporting audits, fixed assets, billing, payroll and accounts payable operations. These experiences provide him with a strong understanding of the operational and compliance challenges contractors face and drive his commitment to delivering tailored solutions that achieve business objectives and position organizations for successful audit outcomes.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Tampa.
