Available Opportunities
The Senior Costpoint Consultant is primarily responsible for architecting and designing Costpoint accounting and finance solutions. aligned with client objectives for government contract clients. Examples of clients include service providers, non-profits, research institutions, and manufacturers. The role is focused on identifying and implementing leading government contracting best practices for accounting & finance in conjunction with Capital Edge compliance leads, client and third-party technical support.
This position will provide design expertise for new implementations and execute analysis of existing systems to advise on best practices to optimize system usage while supporting contractual and regulatory reporting and compliance requirements. The Senior Costpoint Consultant will be expected to bring an understanding of government contracting requirements and Costpoint capabilities to work directly with clients and client systems to identify and implement exceptional solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (interviews, reviewing policies & procedures, reviewing contracts, analyzing system data and configuration, etc.).
- Identify client weaknesses, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Formulate client driven solutions based on regulations, client business needs, capabilities, and limitations.
- Work effectively both independently and in a team environment, remote or in-person, depending on the needs of the business and client(s).
- Drive the client experience to develop and report on key metrics.
- Determine and make appropriate tradeoffs to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.
- Develop and communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to senior executive leadership.
- Lead, direct, influence and exercise extensive business knowledge and expertise to evaluate and resolve significant business issues pertinent to key projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Subject matter expert in Costpoint Accounting and Projects modules with a strong understanding of the PAO pillars in Costpoint to effectively design and build PAO structures from inception, including indirect rate structures/pool setup
- Excel in the functional daily uses in Costpoint as it relates to transactions, billing, revenue, and anticipate downstream effects.
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field plus 8 years Costpoint-related experience
- Solid foundational knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and DFARs Business Systems
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build a strong rapport
- Confidence to lead diverse teams through ambiguous and new situations

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager is primarily responsible for ERP assessment, procurement, and implementation lifecycle program management for government contract clients.
